Presentation Guidelines

If you are making a paper presentation:

– There will be an LCD projector provided in each meeting room. You must provide your own laptop and the proper connections to a typical projector cable (VGA). This is especially important for Mac users.

– Only one room will have a microphone and sound (Orquidea). If you have special sound needs – say for a video presentation – and you are not scheduled in that room, email us (

– Typically, papers sessions will be 90 minutes long. Presenters will have up to 15 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for discussions per paper.

If you are making a poster presentation:

– Please limit the size of your poster to 120 cm altura x 90 cm largura (45” tall by 35” wide). This is a fairly typical size for a poster. See below how is the poster display stands.
